Liquid E

Exequel is an excentric ‘New Age’ guy in the Philippines. After his education in food and beverages he decided to focus on cocktails and flair-bartending. He can manage any bar and serve delicious cocktails with flair. Together with bar-magic and unbelievable juggling with bottles and glasses, he is the perfect ‘helping hands’ for any party!

To calm his wild mind he studied Yoga. Quickly he became a yoga-master, and currently he helps people who have enourmous benefits from yoga. It helps that his father has a massage and yoga studio in Dagupan City.

To calm his mind even further he decided to build orgonites. These are cones or pyramids filled with bionised sand and quartz crystalls. Orgonites transform negative energy in the air into positive energy. Many people in and around Dagupan already have an orgonite made by Liquid-!

His modern way of thinking also lead the way to the latest in holograms. With the help of some of the biggest names of special effects and holographic effects in the global entertainment industry he has already built an amazing 3D hologram display.

Racers, Etc. | Dagupan City Fiesta Auto Show 2013

Dagupan City has started its fiesta celebration last week, and among the events slated for the first week was the Dagupan City Fiesta Auto Show 2013. The car show was held last December 4 and 5 at the city plaza.

I went there twice on both days, and was able to take photos of the cars on display. There were classic/vintage cars, those with crazy-loud audio setups, ones with custom body kits, hulking trucks, and a few racers.

Thanks to my years of collecting Top Gear Philippines magazines, I had ideas on how to shoot cars. I shot with my Panasonic Lumix LX5.

Over the past few days, I’ve posted some my photos of the Classics, Off-Roaders and Sound Blasters in the show. Here today I want to show the rest of the photos. There are cars with setup for racing, while others are just flaunting their body kits. Check ’em…

This is Not a Tip. This is a Story About an Asshole.

Today I am writing my blog from my parent’s house.  Happy Franksgiving week, everyone!

Generally speaking when I write blogs about people, I either don’t know their names or else I change them to save them from embarrassment.  This is the kind of person that I am.  Following the events of this past Thursday, however, I have decided that I am not vindictive enough and that this is a character trait that I must try and develop.  If people act like assholes, after all, they should be called out and called out by (first) name!  (Clearly I am in the very early stages of vindictive-development.)  Also, this dude was such an incredible shithead that I think I would be doing the world a disservice by not calling him out.  So, here goes.  Let us all hope that he doesn’t sue me for libel* (he’s a lawyer, god help us all).

wet wednesday

oh Wednesday, we got your number.  Mid week, accelerated crunch times, celebrated thoughts of the coming weekend, and, to some- like myself- working in the industry, Wednesday could very well be role-playing your Monday. Either way, we all have  certain withering and weary thoughts of Wednesday. well, while wading through rush-hour downtown, why don’t you anticipate setting your Wednesday waddle into the King Eddy Hotel‘s cushy Consort-Bar and having a dirty bird martini while watching the traffic settle. Wet your lips and watch your mouth water as you take a sip of their Tanqueray Ten dirty gin martini. Couple it with a sideways glance at the starched collared, brown eyed bartender. Quench your thirst and bite down on the salty nibbles she brings to your table. Wet your Wednesday and wring out your weekday wither with a Consort’s passerby’s martini.

Orgonite and Plasterite

life outside mainstream

This next post is about making Orgone devices.  For those who don’t know what Orgone Energy or Orgonite is; check out these sites as they have excellent information, and I’m way too lazy to try and fit in a post about the origins, science and effectiveness of Orgone. 🙂
Orgonite Info
Awesome Orgonite

This is a photo of one of my first pieces of resin orgonite with powdered zinc oxide, steel wool, shungite stone, clear quartz, pink sparkly mica and metal shavings.  My husband who is quite skeptical drew my attention to the fact that where the orgone was placed created a rejuvenation of the oxidised rusty surface of his grafting table.  We moved the orgone to another part of the table, and the same results have occured.    This is over a couple of months also..

Above – You can see the rejuvenated bit of iron to the right of…
